[Vwdiesel] Can somebody tell me about Quantums?

Just to be clear, I didn't mind the e mode.  The problem was that I had
a transmission problem when I bought it. I fixed it as well as a I
could, but it finally failed in a impressive way (transmission fluid all
over the road), and I simply wasn't able to fix it or find a
replacement.  The only transmission shops I could find that would even
look at it all wanted $1k or more and would not give any kind of a
guarantee.  At the time that was simply more than I wanted to gamble.
