It seems as though the used diesels out your way are more expensive than
they are around here! I just picked up a '87 Suburban for $500.00. Sure the
guy thought he was bending me over because he thought there was a "major"
problem with it, but still. I think that $80 for a torque converter and a
couple hours to install it beats paying $2500.00 for an '82 ! But then I
didn't look close enough to see if your add was a 4X4 or not.

Basically just trying again to see if I can post to this address yet!  Tom
