  I've lost turbo to manifold bolts.  I've seen loose and missing nuts or
studs.
The studs will often come out easier than the nut will come off.
  I got the Jetta ALMOST together today!  Only had to put on the turbo,
time, hang PS pump and such.  Still took half the day what with chasing
tools and having to pull the turbo back off to put on a shield.  I'd snagged
the shield for Dad's pu.  The new one has been in the Rabbit awaiting this
day.  Too bad I didn't remember it a little sooner!  :P
