Honestly I don't remember ever seeing an air pump on ANY VW. With most
diesel caps being vented, I wonder what they test them for?

Of course this could easily depend on the lighting when just doing a visual
inspection for any smoke. Mine shows a little while idling. In the right
light
it's noticeable, likewise it can also make it not noticeable in the least.

That's great. Turbos do tend to run a little cleaner than a NA.
I should put that drag racing pic. of Jake's car up sometime. Talk about
opaque cloud!
