[Vwdiesel] Help, no start after running hard

  Typically it would be a blown head gasket.  Not saying that it is for sure
but I saw a lot of "overheated, won't start" at the dealer and it was always
a blown head gasket.  Of course most of those were driven until they
dropped too.  Check your water level.  If it was running hotter than normal
there should be a reason other than just driving harder.  The point on the
gauge where the fan kicks on should be as hot as it gets.  Otherwise
something else is wrong.  Bad (cheap/jippo) water pump, low coolant,
bad fan thermoswitch, plugged radiator, blown head gasket.
