[Vwdiesel] Battery Charging Question

The Jetta began exhibiting this at some point. In the dark, at idle, the charge
light (LED) flickers a little. Increase the rpms and the flicker goes away. Is
it time to clean all the connections in the charging system? Old Beetles were
notorious for this.
