[Vwdiesel] compatibility

Hey y'all

So a friend of mine has a '98 TDI Jetta and he has another friend who
crashed a '98 TDI new Beetle.  The second friend says my friend can take
parts off of the crashed Beetle, but my friend says he doesn't know what
parts from the Beetle will work on his Jetta. Everyone follow? ;)  So, the
question is, if one of you guys had this Jetta, what parts off of the new
Beetle would you take off to have?

The Jetta has 4 lug wheels, and the Beetle has 5's, so we know that won't
work.  And, the Bettle is A4 based, right?

I don't know the specifics of this trade, but maybe I can pass along some
knick knacks if anybody needs anything.  Just let me know, but quick!
