  I figured this was possible but one: was it really worth it, and two: would

  I have two of them as well.  Identical models, digital readout but with
analog
type knobs.  One is great, good reception, convenient seek feature, etc.  Only
problem is the AM/FM switch is bad, so I bought the second as parts.  It's
in the Quattro though.  It works but nothing to brag about or really cuss
either.
One of the speaker outputs is dead as I recall.  It was for parts anyway.
