[Vwdiesel] Headlights and Timing belt

Anyone had to replace a headlight bulb on an A4 Jetta yet, I just had
one go out and it looks real tight in there, how much stuff do I need to
pull out to get at it?  All the owners manual tells me about the
headlight is to take car in to a Dealer!  YA RIGHT!  Of course it's a
blizzard out there now so it should be really fun to work on;-(
And anyone know what type bulb goes in there? 

Also timing belt time, any ideas what this "should"cost?  I've got it
booked in at the local VW dealer, I've got a feeling that it's going to
hurt.
