[Vwdiesel] Haynes manual for diesel Vanagon?

I was wondering which Haynes manual would cover the diesel Vanagon engine?
Would it be this one: 1977-84 Rabbit, Jetta, Pick-ups?  Was the Rabbit the
old version of the Golf?
