[Vwdiesel] Mixing Synthetic & Dino Oils

  Wow, I didn't get this message until today. Slow e-mail.

 Is it bad to have mixed the oils? No, probably not. Modern synthetics like
the Mobil 1 are OK to mix with dino oils.

Should you drain and refill? IMO, Yes.
Mobil 1 *gasoline* oil is only rated at CF. Better oils rated at CH-4 are
readily available. Why use something rated for less?
 I'd be more comfortable using Delvac 1300, Shell Rotella T, or Chevron Delo
400 dino oil. If you want to run synthetic, diesel-specific oils are
available, too.
