[Vwdiesel] Glow plug LED

Check your temp sensor or the wire to it - it may be telling the relay
that the van is cold all the time... at least this happened when the
wire pulled off in my van.

My glow plug indicator is coming on when it should not.  Coincidently my
glow plugs seem to be burning open.  If I remove the glow plug relay the
LED
goes out.  This is annoying.  I stuck in a different (old) relay and
experienced the same phenomenon.

Has anyone else had this problem?  Did you determine the root cause?
How
did you fix it?
