[Vwdiesel] An Update

Hello Everybody:

              NO, I'd never unscubscribe from the VW
              Diesel List! I've been at my
              new job for 5 days now, and was out of
              the office for three of them
              at meetings. Its real intense now, but
              should calm down as I get the
              hang of things. I was attempting to
              unsubscribe my old work's e-mail
              address (nwall at e...). It never worked,
              because I got a call
              from them saying basically, what the
              hell have you been doing here!
              (They were swamped w/ messages!)

              How do I get the old e-mail signed off?
              Also, how do I get my new one
              added? (I'm going thru Yahoo Groups right now).

              As for the diesel content, I checked the oil in my '85
Jetta TD. Oil
              consumption has gotten shockingly worse FAST! A quart in
115 miles! A
              month ago, I got 350 miles from a quart. I'm now fogging
the poor guy
              behind me w/ white smoke on acceleration, but when
cruising, no smoke
              is seen. I'm shooting for the July 4th weekend to replace
the engine
              w/ a brand spanking NEW 1.9L TD and its installation kit.

              Was it Karl Mondune (pardon my spelling) that had a source
for these
              new engines?, and was there someone else? I need one fast!
