Your belt is quite probably loose--at low rpms it is able to stay hooked up
to the alt  ok--at high rpms it may be breaking loose

Whatever spray dope you put on there probably made the connection worse not
better. Take the cable free and clean it and the grounding point thoroughly.
A new/clean bolt and lock washer would be nice.
