[Vwdiesel] Update on Propane injection

Just to let everyone know, I now have over 800 miles on the propane system
and there is still propane in the 2 1/2 gallon tank and still is producing
the 12 lbs of pressure that I have been using.  I already reported 44 mpg on
the highway (my normal at 75 mph is 42).  I filled the car at 1/2 a tank to
get an idea of mixed driving, it was almost exactly half highway and half
around town on that tank I got 42 mpg. I am now doing an intown only test
and will let you know how that goes. I have also purchased a dual fuel
system that will let me convert the Jetta to run fulltime on a diesel
propane mixture and classifying it as a dual fuel clean vehicle.  It will be
a few weeks before I can remove the current system and install the dual fuel
system however.  Then I will transplant the propane system I have now to the
pickup along with the turbo engine in the garage.  I hope to do that
transplant over thanksgiving weekend.  Later.
