[Vwdiesel] Loosening Alternator Belt Mystry Solved

Well, the alternator belt on the '85 Jetta TD loosen again after 100
miles of driving and I tightened it. It was night time, so I did not get
a good look. In daylight I examined the situation. The long thru-bolt
(pivot bolt) holding the alternator to the alt/A/C bracket was missing.
The alternator was working its way further down in the bracket after
each belt tightening. I must not have tightened it proprerly (or
forgoten to tighten it) when the new motor got installed. I found a
replacement in my bolt bin.
