[Vwdiesel] specs of making an exhaust C Clip wedge tool

I use this tool with some regularity and success (the muffler clamp
version, not the Hazet version.)
Some tips:
if you have access to a welder weld a flat bar about .25" wide across the
bottom of the U in the muffler clamp - this helps to keep the clamp seated
in the C-clip. If you don't have a welder, grind a flat spot. No welder
or grinder? Beat a flat spot into it with a hammer... :) Use some
washers behind the nuts as they will get chewed up if used repeatedly
against the clamp.
