Most likely it should be right but if your engine is worn much then it may
not be able to handle all the fuel. Could be worn injectors, low
compression,
etc. A pump returned from the rebuilder SHOULD be set correctly. It's a
simple task though to just back it off a dab at a time until you get rid of a
good share of the smoke. You'll have to turn up your idle and that might
get things back to normal.
