I found a new love. :)  My current daily driver is a 1992 volvo 245.  I
want to switch to a diesel as my daily driver but the rabbit is just...
well.. not as nice as the volvo. :)

I found a MIIINT 1974 Mercedes 240D on Ebay.  It didn't sell (no bids at
$1900) and I offered the owner $2500 shipped (from Milwaukee, WI).  Rust
free, low miles, and garaged its whole life.. plus a 5-speed to boot.

So yeah... I'm selling the rabbit to help pay for this 240.  The
experience was fun though.  It will help me for when I need to do
repairs on the 240 (which seems little).

I just went out tonight and took the rabbit around the block.  Mmm..
it's running good...

What I'm really waiting for is a TDI VR6 or TDi Golf to come over to the
US.  Then I'll think about a newer car. :)  Maybe in 5 years or so.
