[Vwdiesel] Dual Fuel Propane system

For those that were wondering, I don't have to get the system certified,
that is done by the manufacturer.  I have a little sticker that came with
the system that says: "Welsh Technologies, LPG Multi-Fuel System, Dual-Fuel
Alternative Fuel Vehicle, DOE/EIA #19964"
That is the certification.  The Powershot and Bully Dog and import power
systems are for power only not emissions.  As I understand it however,
either the powershot or the Bully dog system supplies propane at idle and at
run somewhat similar to the Welsh system so maybe they could get it
certified, however, I do not know the process or the cost.
BTW I did have to solve one problem with the system, it requires some sort
of throttle switch to change from idle mode to run mode.  I started by using
an only upshift switch mounted on the acc. pedal bracket and operated by the
pedal..depress the pedal the system activates.  Unfortunately this will only
work when driving normally and would not work when using the cruise control.
So...today I solved the problem, I purchased a Hobbs pressure switch that is
set to 2 lbs of pressure.  The TDI easily produces 2 lbs under normal
runnning conditions so that should solve my problem for the cruise.  Anyway,
I will keep filling every one in, I hope to finish the installation tomorrow
unless something else comes up.  Hayden
