[Vwdiesel] Fuel lines

Jim, Thanks for looking, I determined today that the problem was not with
the hoses.  I have them hooked up right.  The problem was in the filter
assembly.  Somewhere, and I could never figure our where, the filter housing
was leaking air into the system. So much air was bleeding in that at high
rpms the pump was essentially pulling foam not fuel. I tried a different
filter(yes I checked the drain valve, it was tight)...no change. I used
nylon sealing tape on the bleeder screw with a new washer...no change.  I
changed the sealing washers on both the input and output connections...no
change.  I even put hose clamps on the line connections...no change.
Finally I broke down and dragged out the Racor filter I bought off ebay year
or so ago and hooked it...problem solved.  Glass bowl of filter stays filled
with nice clean diesel/biodiesel mix and the truck runs fine.  Thanks for
