I own a 94 Jetta with a 1.9TD in it. Mexican assembled, good engine, wired
by terrorists. Back windows no longer work. 3 out of 4 door locks work.
Headlight switch melted.
Heater switch melted.
Several wires have corroded away completely.
I'm in a slowwww process or completely rewiring all the important stuff.,
the rest can crumble.

They were available in the jettas and golfs until the TDI landed, I think
the TDI's were optional in 97, and the 1.9TDii stopped in 98.
There's an exclusive volks yard near Aylmer Quebec, although I don't shop
there, I could run down the contact for the group. There's also one north of
toronto, near Orangeville on Hwy 9. Dominique might be able to identify it.
