[Vwdiesel] Was stalling now not starting

  I seem to remember someone here having something similar happen and
they found the fuel shutoff solenoid had come apart or such.  I think the
plunger can be pulled out and thus snapped back in.  It might be worth
taking a look at it or trying a donor one, if you have one available.
