[Vwdiesel] Ok, so I may be coming back the fold

Well, after I got rid of my diesel wagon, I replaced it with a Toyota 4
Runner. I have been happy with it except for the gas mileage (17 mpg). So
when Loren posted the 79 MB wagon the other week that was for sale, I was
really disappointed as I had already spent my "car" money on the Toyota but
realized that I truly missed my diesel.

Well, the other day when I walked out of the office a young guy was walking
all around my Toyota and looking in the windows. When I asked him what he
was doing he responded with "I would like to by your 4 Runner". I was a bit
floored and told him I would have to think about it and so exchanged phone
numbers and left for home.

Well, the more I have thought about it the more I like the idea of selling
the Toyota.

So the reason for this email. Does anyone on the list in the northwest know
of any decent diesel's for sale in the $2500 or less category.

My preferences are for a wagon of some sort (Quantum, Audi, Volvo, Mercedes)
as I have kids that I need to transport.

I would also prefer one that doesn't need a lot of work as I have limited
time these days (two small children and the third on the way).

I came across the following one for sale in my town, but it is just a 2 door
bunny and is probably too small for my needs.

Vancouver WA
1982 VW RABBIT, 2 door, 5 spd diesel, 50MPG+/-, runs good $850 360-992-0765

Anyway, any help you can provide is, as always, greatly appreciated.

Duncan
