[Vwdiesel] Need a Tach in my 1991 Jetta 1.6D

Did the MK2 Golf or Jetta Diesel ever come with a tach?  I really hate not
having one.  I did find a Diesel instrument cluster w/tach from a Quantum
Diesel.  Will this fit my '91 Jetta 1.6D?  TIA
