[Vwdiesel] A2 into A1?

Well, I finally found a donor 1.6td for my 81 Caddy. I am buying a complete
(minus tranny) 85 Jetta TD. Engine does need rebuilt. Will the A2 dash fit
in my A1 chassis? I would like to be able to use the diesel cluster w/tach.
Also, will the larger A2 radiator fit in my A1? Anything else that way swap
over? Thanks, Tom
