[Vwdiesel] Can't prime my injection pump

    HI all,

    I got my engine together everything seems fine, but no fuel. I have use=
d a vacuum pump and sucked fuel to the end of the line going to the pump. B=
ut when I hook it up to the pump and crank no fuel. I have all of the fuel =
line's away from the injectors and have cranked over 30 secs straight on va=
rious attempts and nothing.  When I was taking the starter power line off I=
 didn't take the ground off first and I caused a few zaps.  Could this be a=
n electrical problem with the solinoid on top of the injection pump. How do=
 I check that is working right.   It's a 82 diesel Rabbit.
