[Vwdiesel] Slow wiper motor

Hi,

The wiper motor in my '89 Jetta is wiping very s-l-o-w. Is it possible to
somehow repair it, or should I just look for a good used or a new one? Was
working fine until a few months ago, now I don't think it'll be able to wipe
much off my windshield this winter with the current motor. I'd appreciate
any suggestions if there is an easy way to refurb it. Thanks!
