[Vwdiesel] MPG 88 Jetta ?

I get about 46  - 48, combined mileage (MPG).

Tips:
Change the timing belt every 60 K miles, use a diesel
rated oil and OEM filter (I change every 5,000 miles),
change the air filter every 20,000 miles, the fuel
filter every 30,000 miles. And do the basic stuff like
keeping the other belts and hoses in good shape.
