But then again, I'm the only one that tightens these
nuts, so they are tightened to spec, not grossly over
tightened. I had tires put on a Maxima once and went
home to retorque the nuts. Most were at 200 plus
ft-lbs!!!! no kidding. They even said they torqued
them to 80. Now I know how the rim recesses where the
lug nut fits gets galled!
