[Vwdiesel] Caddy in Canada!

I drove a couple of these when I worked at a VW dealer
delivering parts in the 1980s. They had a gas one and
a diesel one. The gas one was fast as crap and all us
parts jockeys ragged the P*%s out of it. No A/C and
black interior. Roasted my butt off in the summer in
it. It went through shift bushings every few months!
The diesel one was slow as molassass on a sub-zero
day. It had A/C and that really slowed it down, but
the oversized A/C in that small cab froze the bejesus
out of you. So I guess I do have something to compare
the Jetta TD to. The Jetta is not that bad after all.
The Caddys are like a little space capsules, aren't
they! All the Ds were 1.6 NAs. A TD should fit w/ some
exhaust modifications.
