  One other thing to check is that the flange isn't wobbly on the splines.
My Rabbit's that way and a friend's replaced several that were.  I asked
him about it when I found mine were loose.  He said the wear always
seems to be in the flange and not the splines (whew!)   New flanges
solve the problem.  I figure that's why mine are weeping since they
were doing it not too long after I put in new seals.
