If it has an auto tranny, run away, far away.  The high pressure hydraulic system provides brake boost and power steering, uses expensive pentosin fluid, leaks it out like it didn't cost anything.  Also, be on the lookout for all kinds of electric problems; trip computer, auto climate control, stereo, power windows.  Otherwise, very solid cars, not very rusty usually.  Engines are simple and tend to last a long time, like VW 4 cyl gassers.
