Just "do it my way" lots of leverage and no scratches...

Just do it enough to break seal if it wedges onto  studs and move the hoist to
a new position

If the holes are distorted then 'ammer 'em to flat ...or like I do slightly
overdone

Sick of cork gaskets any way?...Then do as I do and use a 'rubber' one piece
version which I believe comes from a Corrado?
