Jeeps have had only two diesels:  A perkins diesel way back in the early
60's,
and the Renault in the 84/85 Cherokee.  I can't believe either one would be
easy
to find for a swap.

   Didn't Jeeps also come with Nissan 2.4L diesels? I know IHC Scouts did,
seems
like Jeeps did too.
