Where did this hillbilly start his DIESEL education ???? -- right of t=
he beach at Copenhagen Airport (Kastrup) the summer of 1945. The diesel ???=
the most incredible aircraft diesel of the time on the most incredible D=
iesel Aircraft of ALL time (to now 2003). German maritime long range patro=
l flying boat. At anchor ---ready to go --crew just left it.(not scuttled).=
Plane ??? Blohm and Voss Bv 138c ------ I should have started it up a=
nd taxied to Sweden . I could see Sweden from the top of the wings.(a frien=
d of mine "stole" a Messerscmidt 108-- and got it registered.) Later the lo=
cal fishermen pumped the dieselfuel in to a bunch of boats. -----So here I =
am finding out (2003) that plane is in a museum in Denmark --the only one l=
eft in the world. All the other ones were turned into beercans.(Bloody sham=
e). There was 22 of these in Denmark. In 1945 some one sent it to the bott=
om.Then a few years ago a MOAB "mother of all bridges" was being built to =
Sweden , and the plane was found sitting on the seabed..Engine _ a bit rust=
y by now , but as luck would have it , some engineering students found a br=
and new crated engine in a repairshed .I think it went to museum It is a =
3 engine craft.Moral of story _ the Germans had a lot of experience and BOS=
CH was in on war production like a dirty shirt.First thing for a hillbilly =
is to look for scrap pumps to dissect I did great in that department.
The easiest adjustment on pump is the regulator valve. The pumps will be =
described in details as we move along. Please , critique is welcome. =
In #5 we look at how many things can be adjusted and repaired by us safel=
y=2E   Hagar.
