[Vwdiesel] gaskets and seals

Hey everyone,

While putting my bunny's engine back together, I realized that I have a
question.  When putting all the gaskets and seals back on, does any oil
need to be applied to these?  It's kindof a dumb question, but
especially around the seals, I'm worried about the rubber vulcanizing
to the shafts and starting to leak again.

Anyone?
