[Vwdiesel] Dipstick Installation

Is there a bushing that fits between the dipstick tube
and the engine block? I know there is an "O" ring. I
was installing the dipstick tube in Jetta TD #2 (PO
used wire ties to hold it in and silicone selant to
seal it, w/ a flat washer). It is a VERY loose fit and
actually has ALOT of side play, like a plastic bushing
is missing. The VW dealer says only the "O" ring is
used. If there is no bushing, any ideas on how to
tighten up the fit? How about wrapping w/ tefflon tape
to take up the slack. Tx.

P.S. when I did this on Jetta TD #1 when swapping
motors, it was a nice TIGHT fit. Hmmmmm....
