[Vwdiesel] New engine help 1.9NA diesel

I spent all day today installing a new engine in my '82 diesel Vanagon.
  I cannot get it to run for more than a few seconds.  I suspece the
injector pump timing is off, but I don't know what the spec is for this
engine.  It's a 1Y 1.9 liter normally aspirated diesel.  This one has
the 1.9 head and injector pump, unlike some of the hybrid engines out
there that use a 1.6 head and pump on a 1.9 block.  The initial timing
was set to 1.05mm from the factory.   This engine is used in Euro
Golf/Jetta/Passat/Caddy.  If anyone has the timing specs for this engine
, please send it along.  Maybe I can get it running tomorrow :-)
