[Vwdiesel] Adjusting turbo boost pressure

Not sure if yours are different to mine(1.9TD) but I
can change the boost on my garret easily
enough..remove circlip holding actuator arm to
wastegate lever, loosen locknut, 'undo' the end a few
turns (to increase preload), retighten locknut and
refit..its very fiddly on my A3 platform but not
impossible...i did it on mine as the actuator had
'gone soft' from 0.65bar nominal to only holding 0.55,
ten minute job....(oh and it now holds .75...)
