[Vwdiesel] Help evaluating Jetta TDI?

I have no idea if it's applicable, but in the old ones (late 80's, early
90's), a flashing glow plug light meant excess water in the fuel/water
separator under the car - just needed to drain it down and the light
would stop flashing after a short period.

Whether they kept that warning system on TDI's, I can't tell you...

Chris

Wow! You guys sure did come through with the answers. I can get on with
my
decision making now. "Glow plug light blinks when brake light bulb is
out.." that is an economical way of limiting the number of symbols they
have to put on the warning light panel.

Thanks for all the first rate help.

Doyt
