[Vwdiesel] OT: General Diesel Questions

this is still diesel related, but not vw...

i am going up a slight grade (a big one for ne illinois) in my gas guzzling,
terrorist funding suv, and a semi passes me. not an ordinary semi, a tricked
out western starr, and his turbo is SCREAMING, at least i think its
screaming, its louder than sin. then we hit the first stoplight where the
expressway ends (it does end, trust me) and the light goes yellow, jake
brakes kick in and the thing goes from a high pitched scream to the belch of
an ogre. we stop at the light, a relatively 'quiet' rumble.

so now for my question, and forgive my if it seems naive, but, if your turbo
is spinning that fast, then you have to come to a complete stop in a short
distance and the jake brake kicks in, and you come to an idle, are you
risking turbo damage due to what would seem to be a great change in oil
pressure?
