IIRC, it cost me right around $860 for the timing belt replacement at
Joe Pecheles in Greenville, NC.  That price includes whatever other
items are done at the 40K service.
This, I believe is a record price for auto maintenance (other than some exotic brand). And the VW TDI is an "economy car"??
