Nate,

The cold side is to the left...If the problem  has only just manifest itself,
and only occurs when you are driving along make sure that it is not a true
reading! and there is a true engine over heating problem....[get it hot and
get a look at the  engine]... and touch the rad hose....smell for xs
heat...perhaps fan thermostat not operating etc
