There've only been a couple of pumps on the list that have "gone."
Most need a seal or two or have a worn bushing from the belt being
too tight. It's more like $400 to rebuild, which is still cheaper than
most single visits to a dealer for gas or diesel cars!
Clutch life is always an unknown. I knew a family that got about
30K out of their clutches. Our family usually gets 100K or better.
(they usually get replaced "while in there" before they're ever close
to gone.)
Most to many cars you buy will need tires and often a timing belt
as well. At least you know what you have. :)

Keep your CV boots intact, shocks may need replaced, heater
core had a recall on it. Use the CORRECT oil and filter. Drain
your water separator, by the RR wheel. Enjoy the car. :)
