I think I'm going to keep it! Thanks everyone for the advice. The
VW guy here in town made it sound like once the pump went you
were looking at big bucks to replace and it wasn't worth it. It sounds
like  it's not that common to see one go bad. It also doesn't sound
like too bad a job if I do have to replace anyway. Ahhh hell, I may
even learn something by fixing all the stuff that goes wrong!
Besides, as long as I have the list to fall back on I should be all set!
