Well guys i fixed the glow plug problem. Turned out to be a burnt fuse up underneath the dash.  As for the coolant temp, I replaced the rad, and all hoses.  I know the water pump is good b/c i can see it spraying coolant into the resevoir.  What are the resistance values for the temp sensors.  Also where do these cars normally run in terms of the temp needle on the gauge. BTW it's an 86 golf  deezul
