[Vwdiesel] Can't get my Pistons out.

It seems like plenty of people got by with re-ringing in similar
circumstances. You were able to push the pistons past that noticeable
edge? Hagar suggested putting a little lube on the lip; I think I
will try that. I haven't borrowed a ridge-reamer yet. I might if this
doesn't work.
Of course, this will have to wait until I help my friend finish his
head gasket and timing belt on his rabbit. We snapped the last
headbolt, and he is working on getting that out at the moment. The
bolt is pertruding a couple inches from the block; he is going to
heat the hell out of it and the surrounding area with a torch to try
and loosen it enough for removal. We replaced his cracked head with 1
he scored at the junkyard for $25!
