  Heck, I run 15W/40 year round, -35F to 115F.  It's a tad thick below 0F
but then it looks thick any time it's below 85F!  (Lot's of vitamins and
stuff!)  ;-)  I looked at the owner's manual once and I think it recommended
15W/40 down to around zero give or take.  I remember being surprised
at how low they recommended it.  Not like it turns solid or anything and
it does, usually get below zero here, but not this year!  It's 46 and sunny
right now!
