Problem is that's 12V and your block heater is 120V, if I'm understanding
you correctly. Not much chance you'd have enough power in there to
power something like that. You'd need an inverter in the line as well. You
start counting amps and I think you'll come up way short.

Just to make you double check, is it a diesel rated oil? I sometimes
browse
through the oil aisles checking API certs on oils. Last one I looked at,
nothing but Syntec, Mobil 1 and Rotella were C rated. No other oil on the
shelf was. I'm not sure that I've ever actually seen a 10W/40 oil that is
diesel rated. :(
